Chick
A purebred chick should not be obtained by photos or photo galleries.
These birds generally differ from other feathered creatures with their comb and two wattles. The comb is the red appendage on the top of the head and the wattles are the two appendages under the chin.

There are a lot of breeds of these birds. They are bred for different purposes. The Buff Orpington, for instance, is the breed that is used for meat and eggs. These birds are pretty large and the hens make good mothers. A purebred chick should not be obtained by photos or photo galleries.
